Why Quality Internal Work Matters

Surface Preparation

Good plastering starts with preparation. We assess surfaces, apply PVA or bonding where needed, and ensure each substrate is ready before plaster is applied.

Smooth Consistent Finish

We aim for a flat, smooth, consistent finish that provides the best possible base for paint or wallpaper.

Boarding & Lining

Where walls or ceilings need forming first, we can include plasterboarding, dry lining, dot and dab or partition work in the internal route.

Minimal Disruption

We work cleanly and efficiently, protecting floors and surfaces, and leaving rooms ready to use as quickly as possible.

Repairs & Patches

Where plaster has cracked, blown or failed, we carry out careful repair work to match the existing surface as closely as possible.

New Build Experience

We have experience of new build and developer plastering programmes, working to schedule and alongside other trades.

The Internal Plastering Process

1

Project Details

We review the scope, room count, surface condition, whether plasterboarding is required and the finish standard expected.

2

Site Review

We visit the property to assess surfaces, access, substrate condition and any preparation needed before plastering can begin.

3

Surface Preparation

Existing surfaces are checked, repaired, bonded or primed as required. Boards are fixed where plasterboarding is included in the scope.

4

Plaster Application

Plaster is applied to the appropriate depth and worked to a smooth, flat finish. Ceilings, walls and returns are completed in sequence.

5

Finish Check

Once the plaster has been trowelled to finish, we check all surfaces for consistency and address any marks or imperfections before leaving.

6

Clean-Down

The room is cleared of plaster waste and surfaces protected. We leave rooms clean and ready for the drying period to begin.

7

Drying & Aftercare

We advise on appropriate drying time, ventilation and decoration timescales to protect the quality of the finished surface.
